Michael Hollman
Owner & President
Michael's journey to Matco Services began in the corporate world, where he spent years traveling extensively for work. While professionally successful, the constant travel kept him away from what mattered most—family and community. In 2008, seeking a change that would allow him to build something meaningful while staying connected to family, he purchased Matco Services.
What drew Michael to the HVAC industry wasn't the technical side—it was the relationship side. Every service call is an opportunity to help someone, solve a problem, and build trust. This focus on relationships over transactions shapes everything about how Matco operates.
Michael is the father of 11 children. Three of his sons now work for Matco Services, creating a genuine family business atmosphere. His commitment to helping children in foster care and supporting people in reaching their potential translates directly into his leadership philosophy: create opportunities for people to succeed, invest in their development, and treat everyone with dignity and respect.
Michael has lived in the Frisco-Prosper-Celina area for 25 years, giving him deep roots in the communities Matco serves. His vision for the company centers on the concept of "raving fans"—customers so satisfied with their experience that they become enthusiastic advocates. This requires more than technical competence; it demands education, transparency, fair pricing, and genuine care for customer outcomes.

When he's not working, Michael spends time with his large family and volunteers in foster care advocacy. He's committed to ensuring Matco Services remains family-owned and independent—no private equity, no franchise fees, no outside investors pressuring short-term profit over long-term relationships.

Jimmy's path to Matco Services is a story of resilience and adaptation. After 15 years as a police officer, a back injury forced him to reconsider his career. Despite growing up in construction (his father built houses) and initially swearing off the construction industry, Jimmy found himself returning to his roots—this time as a business owner.
He founded BLC Construction, a general contracting company that gave him hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems across residential and commercial projects. This comprehensive infrastructure knowledge made him uniquely qualified to understand how home and business systems work together—and how proper HVAC and plumbing service impacts overall building performance.
In 2024, Jimmy partnered with Michael Hollman, bringing construction expertise, entrepreneurial drive, and a fresh perspective on business development. His decision to launch plumbing services through Matco addresses both a customer need and a business opportunity: providing year-round work stability for technicians and offering customers the convenience of a single trusted provider for all infrastructure needs.
Beyond his business ventures, Jimmy operates a nonprofit organization focused on helping injured first responders—a cause close to his heart given his law enforcement background. This commitment to service extends into how he approaches business: genuine care for people, strong ethical standards, and responsiveness when customers need help.

Jimmy is married with two children and two Bernese Mountain Dogs. He loves the outdoors and spending time with family. His leadership style emphasizes action and momentum—when he sees an opportunity to serve customers better, he acts decisively. This entrepreneurial energy complements Michael's measured, experience-based approach, creating a balanced partnership positioned for sustained growth.
